Job Title:

Business Control Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Control Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for implementing control standards, risk assessments, and key control monitoring activities in Wholesale Banking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to Wholesale Banking business units on 1st line Business Control and Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management, including risk assessments, risk mitigation, issue tracking, control execution, and quality assessment.
  • Identify and report risks, collaborating with stakeholders to implement risk-mitigating measures.
  • Act as an expert contact and partner for stakeholders, promoting risk awareness and making non-financial risks understandable and accessible.
  • Coordinate with Control Owners to ensure effective implementation and execution of controls, including risk mitigation in relevant business processes.
  • Plan and align regional or local implementation activities with Head Office requirements, considering regional and local capacity and needs.
  • Monitor implementation progress and report to local management and regional/global Risk and Control functions, addressing any roadblocks.
