Job Opportunity:

The Fraud Risk Associate will provide independent oversight to our fraud risk management activities. This role assists senior management in ensuring that fraud risk-taking activities are aligned with approved strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive the organization's fraud risk management framework, policies, and standards to mitigate potential risks.
  • Recommend fraud risk appetite statements and indicators to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough fraud risk assessments on new products and services to ensure they align with our risk tolerance.
  • Monitor and enhance fraud prevention and detection systems to prevent financial losses.
  • Collaborate with technology and fraud operations teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
  • Assist in investigating potential fraud incidents and providing expert advice to resolve issues.
  • Provide regular fraud awareness training and guidance to business units to promote a culture of compliance.
  • Prepare and present fraud risk information to escalate concerns and inform strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams on fraud risk matters to ensure effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in fraud risk management in a bank setting, with a strong understanding of fraud schemes and mitigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with BSP Regulations and knowledge of statistical models and coding skills in SQL, Excel, or Python is highly desirable.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
