Job Title: Financial Professional

This is a financial role that requires handling various tasks, including receipting, bank reconciliation, and financial reviews.

  • Daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation, and administration of bank accounts
  • Investment in term deposits and communication regarding maturity
  • Financial reviews and report generation
  • Cashflow forecasting and management on a monthly basis
  • Year-end financial checks and accrual journals
  • Budget preparation for the financial year
  • Issue contribution levies to owners
  • Liaise with external auditors on audit queries and organize audits
  • Onboarding and offboarding new/lost business
  • Preparation and review of quarterly BAS
  • Preparation and review of yearly tax
  • Process and update Management Agreements, including system updates and fee corrections
  • Review bot exception reports and complete tasks manually
  • Manage loans from Body Corporate
  • Provide information or explanations to relevant parties
  • Attend finance meetings with clients if required (virtual meetings)
  • Manage miscellaneous on-charging to owners (gas, water, electricity, car park, etc.)
  • Process payroll and superannuation for building managers employed by the Owners Corporation
  • Conduct ad hoc bank deposit recalls and dishonoured payment investigations
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in accounting or a related field
  • At least 4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in budget preparation
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and communicating results to stakeholders
  • Proven account reconciliation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Income Tax and BAS (desirable)
