Employer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to manage financial records, prepare tax returns, handle payroll, and perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and file tax returns, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage payroll processing and prepare payroll returns with precision and timeliness
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating reports
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review and analysis
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience as an accountant with expertise in QuickBooks, tax returns, payroll returns, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and payroll processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
