Mortgage Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in loan processing and documentation, with a strong understanding of lender partnerships and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing, maintain accurate data, and handle loan documentation.
  • Verify borrower documentation, prepare and review loan applications, and input data into the loan origination system (LOS) and CRM.
  • Track loan file progress, ensure compliance requirements and deadlines are met, and communicate with clients and partners as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years of experience in mortgage brokerage or financial services (loan processing or origination support is a plus).
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
