Technical Support Specialist for MES Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving complex issues related to our Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless system operation, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve software defects, as well as collaborate with other stakeholders to improve system performance.
To achieve this, you will be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of software projects delivery for process-oriented environments, including industry experience in food and beverage processing. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with leading edge technology, such as SQL databases, T-SQL codes, and data warehouses.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend technical information related to computer software and hardware. You should also be proficient in MS Office applications and have a strong understanding of ITIL principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate in computer science or mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering with a postgraduate degree in Information Technology or sufficient IT experience.
- 7 years experience in software projects delivery for process-oriented environments.
- Industry knowledge in food and beverage processing would be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with ETL, SSIS, and Microsoft SQL Management Studio.
- Ability to debug code in C#, Javascript, HTML, XAML, and proficiency in Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of WPF, HTML 5, .Net Framework, and SSRS Reporting.
