Job Description

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to support and facilitate the week-week accounts for our busy South East Queensland Markets and Events.

The role sees you overseeing and managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

This position will appeal to a well-versed and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant who is looking to further their career in a well-established and rapidly growing business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial data to management.

  • General Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing, Rent Roll/property Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial insights to management to help with business decisions, cost control, and profitability
