Who We Need
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented Business Development Specialist who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will connect with potential customers, spark meaningful conversations, and open doors for new business opportunities using our innovative tools and strategies. Your role will contribute significantly to our team's success while allowing you to grow your skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify business opportunities by discovering prospective leads
- Initiate sales calls to prospective leads or clients
- Generate new leads through cold calls and emails
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and identify how our solutions can add value to their freight forwarding operations
- Qualify prospects based on their fit and readiness to integrate with our platform
- Work closely with the sales and account management teams to set up meetings and product demos for qualified leads
- Provide detailed insights and context on prospects to the sales team
- Relentlessly follow up with leads, providing valuable information and resources to nurture their interest
- Maintain relationships with qualified but undecided prospects until they are ready for a demo or next step
- Track lead status and engagement accurately in the CRM system
- Regularly report on key metrics, including pipeline growth, number of qualified leads, and conversion rates
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, outreach, and qualified meetings
- Continuously refine your outreach strategy to improve conversion rates and exceed goals
