We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Officer to join our team at Offshore Business Processing. As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and maintaining compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate compliance with OSH mandates and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Review existing policies and measures, and update according to legislation and OHSS standards.
- Organize and conduct OSH awareness training and routine inspections.
- Submit and maintain appropriate OSH DOLE reports.
- Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for suitable control measures.
Requirements:
- DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioner certification.
- Knowledgeable in dealing with health and safety issues in line with procedures detailed in the DOLE OSH mandate.
- 40-hour Basic Occupation Safety and Health Training.
- Experienced in writing reports, policies, and programs.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
