Community Support Specialist
Job Description:We're seeking a proactive and highly motivated Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will be responsible for engaging with customers online and providing valuable self-service support content.
As a specialist in online customer support, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' experience. You will be working closely with various internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure that our customers receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively support customers by engaging with them online and producing valuable self-service content
- Act as a brand ambassador for our company, conveying our values and personality through online communications
- Monitor and expedite the escalation of user issues reported online
- Amplify urgent product advisories and latest version releases through social media
- Act as a technical contact for our techvids to help produce informative and engaging how-to guides and videos
- Review, moderate, and verify community content to ensure technical accuracy and quality
- Collect, assess, and relay valuable user feedback to drive product and documentation improvement
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT security concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to: Active Directory, SQL, Networking, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, Linux/Unix, Mac, Microsoft Windows
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of security, cloud, data protection, encryption, malware, spyware, cybersecurity, firewalls, antivirus, and disaster recovery
