Project Billing Specialist Role Summary

The Project Billing Specialist will be responsible for providing specialized client billing support to projects and project managers.

  • Presents accurate and timely invoices based on project team requests.
  • Evaluates billing details against contractual entitlements, including bill rates, payment terms, and client project or purchase order references.
  • Prepares credit notes and invoice adjustments, ensuring all approval requirements are met.
  • Submits invoices to client portals for payment and manages portal profiles.
  • Responds to billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve existing business processes to optimize the billing function.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Billing and Invoicing: Presents accurate and timely invoices based on project team requests. Evaluates billing details against contractual entitlements, including bill rates, payment terms, and client project or purchase order references.
  • Credit Notes and Adjustments: Prepares credit notes and invoice adjustments, ensuring all approval requirements are met.
  • Client Portal Management: Submits invoices to client portals for payment and manages portal profiles.
  • Billing Inquiries: Responds to billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities to improve existing business processes to optimize the billing function.
