Contract Specialist Job Description

This is a remote full-time independent contractor position requiring US business hours support for telecommunications infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in contract management systems, including day-to-day operations and no-code automation setup, to ensure efficient contract processing and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process internal NDAs, MSAs, and contract amendments through approval workflows, verifying forms, routing to approvers, and sending to the correct parties for signature
  • Review and redline contracts, draft 1-2 paragraph legal summaries highlighting key terms, risks, and relevant points for project managers
  • Manage contracts within ContractBook, creating templates, folders, directing files, creating tags for searching, and performing typical system operations
  • Set up and maintain automated workflows in ContractBook or similar platforms, defining rules for document routing, escalating based on conditions, and directing to final signatories
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A law degree with 3+ years experience working with US law firms, reviewing, redlining, and drafting commercial contracts like NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs
  • Fluent English with excellent written communication skills, creating concise 1-2 paragraph contract summaries
  • Extensive experience operating within contract management systems, creating templates, organizing folders and files, applying tags, and managing tasks
  • Proven experience setting up no-code automations in contract management systems, direct experience in ContractBook preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during US business hours
