Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work US Pacific business hours, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.

This role involves generating accurate funding reports on a weekly basis, producing monthly liquidity statements, and analyzing multifamily replacement reserves. The candidate will also be responsible for creating comprehensive reports for major lending or banking partners and monitoring reporting compliance of ground lessees.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, and/or accounting (MBA preferred). They should have 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions, advanced Excel modeling skills, and strong quantitative skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.

The selected individual will possess excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills. Unquestionable integrity and ethics are essential for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Funding Reports: Generate accurate funding reports on a weekly basis.
  • Liquidity Statements: Produce monthly liquidity statements, monitor compliance, and analyze multifamily replacement reserves.
  • Compliance Reporting: Create comprehensive reports for major lending or banking partners.
  • Ground Lease Reporting: Monitor reporting compliance of ground lessees, perform financial variance analysis.
  • Yardi Reports: Prepare and generate reports requested by Asset Managers, Property Managers, etc.
  • Loan Financing/Refinancing: Assist with loan requests, property executive summaries, due diligence requirements, and closing documents.
  • Yearly Budget: Review and prepare budgets for Asset Managers and Property Managers.
  • 1031 Exchange: Identify replacement properties, calculate estimated deferred tax gain/loss, and update property tax basis.
  • Acquisitions/Dispositions: Conduct due diligence, review closing statements, and set up exchange setups.
  • Summary Of Acquisitions, Dispositions, Financing And 1031 Exchanges: Maintain a summary of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and 1031 exchanges.
  • Property Tax Basis: Update property tax basis on a quarterly basis.
  • LoanBoss: Maintain and review accuracy of loan information in LoanBoss.
  • Special Reports: Draw request from Line of Credit facilities, update company presentation materials, and transaction gain/loss calculation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: In real estate, finance, and/or accounting (MBA preferred).
  • Latin Honors: Cum laude or better from a reputable university.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel modeling, strong quantitative skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Integrity: Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
