Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Expert to join our team. This role involves ensuring the highest quality of software applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.
  • Analyze and understand software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on test ability and quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Document and communicate test results, status reports, and defect metrics to the QA Manager and development team.
Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
