Leading Accounts Payable Professional

Lead Accountant role requires strong accounting skills and experience to manage accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite or Coupa, and be skilled in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and XLOOKUP functions.
Key responsibilities include processing purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in line with company policies, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
Additional tasks involve collaborating with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and exceptions, supporting month-end close activities by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and reports, and assisting in audits by providing required schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' experience in US accounting, knowledge of GAAP and financial close processes, and experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
