Job Title: Strategic Accounts Payable Leader

Role Summary:

As a strategic leader in accounts payable, you will oversee the processing of account payables for a business segment. This role manages a functional team of accounts payable professionals by ensuring accurate and timely processing/handling of payables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Manage invoice production, including capacity and demand planning
    • Ensure month-end closing and balance sheet integrity activities are completed
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Maintain supplier relationships through well-managed AP transactions
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Performance Management:
    • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide continuous feedback
    • Support career development within the hire-to-retire cycle
  • Process Improvement:
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying process and system improvements
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
