Credit Risk Specialist - Offshore Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team in Japan. As a key member of our offshore unit, you will play a critical role in managing our credit portfolio and ensuring the quality of our loan proposals.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in credit with a focus on commercial and corporate loans. You will be responsible for supervising and reviewing the analysis and evaluation of loan proposals, ensuring an appropriate and holistic credit risk assessment. Your expertise will also involve guaranteeing quality and timely completion of account renewals and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage and implement initial remedial management measures for non-performing loans
  • Supervise and review the analysis and evaluation of loan proposals to ensure accurate credit risk assessments
  • Guarantee quality and timely completion of account renewals and evaluations
  • Assess credit risk ratings and classifications, ensuring strict compliance with documentation and bank policies
  • Perform effective portfolio management, recognizing potential issues that require immediate attention or escalation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit with a focus on commercial and corporate loans
  • Proven track record of success in credit risk management and supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
