Job Opportunity

This is a full-time remote position that requires experience with Australian taxation and accounting. The ideal candidate will have Xero Certification and at least 6 years of experience working in a public practice or accounting firm that offers Australian taxation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review financial data to ensure accuracy of coding
  • Prepare annual financial statements for various entity structures
  • Complete annual tax returns within set timeframes
  • Assist with bookkeeping duties and BAS lodgment as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian taxation and accounting experience is mandatory
  • Strong working experience with Xero, XPM, and other accounting systems
  • Xero Certification is required
  • Sound understanding of the Australian GST system, including BAS and IAS
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have great attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow process/system
  • Motivated to continue learning and progressing in their career
