Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

  1. Analyse the current and future business environment and systems landscape to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.
  3. Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that are clear, unambiguous, and suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Presentation of detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.
  5. Review and evaluation of proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.
  6. Collaboration with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.
  7. Assessment and management of the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.
  8. Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  9. Validation of test case scenarios against BRDs and audit of test case results performed by UAT testers.
  10. Adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.
  11. Sharing of best practices and insights with the wider team and contribution to a culture of continuous improvement.
  12. Participation in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management.
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation).
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure).
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
