Compliance Specialist

The role of Compliance Specialist is pivotal in ensuring organizational compliance. This individual serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and tickets received through platforms like Salesforce.

This position requires someone who can strike a balance between independence and collaboration, navigating complex compliance issues with ease.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ticket & Case Management: The Compliance Specialist monitors and manages compliance-related tickets, engages with employees to assess inquiries, accurately documents, tracks, and follows up on all compliance cases from intake to resolution.
  • Compliance Triage & Escalation: The specialist evaluates the nature of each issue and determines the appropriate course of action, routes and escalates cases to relevant departments with documentation and context.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: The Compliance Specialist works with internal stakeholders to validate information and seek subject-matter input, proactively reaches out to other functions when clarification or guidance is needed.
Requirements
  • Mandatory Skills & Experience: 3+ years in HR operations, compliance support, or case management; familiarity with U.S. or Canadian compliance topics; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven critical thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting North American teams from an offshore/remote environment; comfortable collaborating across time zones; remote work setup with reliable internet and secure conditions.
