Senior Accountants play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for certain month-end close procedures, reconciliation and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements and accounts, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Responsible for month-end close procedures
  • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries
  • Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections
  • Perform day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals
  • Enter monthly journal entries
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts
  • Review daily bank activities and prepare JEs for bank reconciliations
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors
  • Assist with SOX controls and facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors
  • Prepare monthly BS & P/L Fluxes
  • Assist with technical accounting as needed
  • Perform additional tasks as requested
  • Interface with other departments to determine monthly accruals and other monthly journal entries

For this position, we are looking for someone with 5 years of General Ledger experience, strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years of General Ledger experience
  • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
