Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders/clients to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to improve product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms for data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences, revenue, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with different teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Requirements
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques (regression, optimization, sentiment analysis, graph community detection, etc.) and experience applying them.
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and extract insights from large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on product development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Experience with distributed data/compute tools like Hadoop, Kafka, Dask, Spark, etc., is a plus.
  • Experience with environments like AWS, GCP, and containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience in designing, planning, and implementing data science projects.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.) is a plus.
