The role of a Plumber/Sprinkler Estimator is to accurately calculate material quantities and labor costs for plumbing and sprinkler systems. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.

  • Conduct takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
  • Review all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
  • Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
  • Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates
  • Ensure timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:

This position involves working with technical documents and blueprints, interpreting their content to ensure accurate calculations and proposal preparation. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
  • Hands-on experience with digital takeoff software for markup processes
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
