Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the management of service operations, coordinating technicians and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. As a Fire Alarm Service Manager, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues in fire alarm systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer Customer Calls: Respond to customer inquiries regarding fire alarm-related concerns.
  • Off-Hours Answering Service Calls: Handle emergency service needs during off-hours, ensuring prompt responses.
  • Schedule Service Calls: Coordinate with technicians to deploy resources efficiently based on priority and availability.
  • Technician Coordination: Manage the deployment of technicians for optimal resource utilization.
  • Customer Email Support: Provide assistance through emails related to service requests, inquiries, and follow-ups.
  • Status Updates: Deliver timely notifications and updates on service status to customers.
  • Remote System Assessment: Evaluate fire alarm system issues remotely, determining whether technician intervention is required.
  • Service Record Maintenance: Ensure compliance with industry standards by maintaining detailed service records.

 

Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated expertise in fire alarm systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving complex problems.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure seamless interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Remote Issue Diagnosis: Ability to diagnose issues remotely and provide suitable resolutions.
  • Technical Coordinator: Proven experience in coordinating technicians and managing service schedules effectively.
  • Familiarity with Industry Regulations: In-depth knowledge of fire alarm industry regulations and compliance standards.
