Project Estimation Specialist

The Sprinkler/Plumbing Take-off Specialist plays a vital role in project estimation by accurately interpreting technical documents, performing take-offs, and preparing detailed proposals. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
  • Review all project documents and technical specifications to assess factors impacting the scope of work
  • Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy and compliance
  • Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates, ensuring timely submission and maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs with a focus on project estimation and proposal preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation, as well as Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes
  • Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines and ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
