Leasing Operations Manager

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Leasing Operations Manager to oversee the leasing operations for our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leasing principles, a proven track record of driving occupancy, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing available units, securing qualified tenants, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all prospective residents. This is a key role responsible for achieving our occupancy and revenue goals while upholding our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leasing & Marketing: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants for vacant units.
  • Tenant Screening & Application Processing: Process rental applications, including conducting background checks, credit checks, and verifying employment and rental history.
  • Lease Administration: Prepare, negotiate, and execute all lease agreements and related addenda with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Reporting & Market Analysis: Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity in the property management software and prepare regular reports on leasing traffic, occupancy rates, and market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Manager, or in a similar property management role.
  • Strong understanding of leasing principles and fair housing regulations.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding leasing targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
