A Home-Based Logistics Coordinator Position

About the Role:

The position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with team members, and a desire to learn new skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring drivers maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and supporting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily driving logs to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact to drivers and management
  • Assist in ensuring truck and driver readiness
  • Develop daily plans to balance drivers' health and safety with customer requirements
  • Negotiate rates directly with vendors and customers
  • Identify special needs of shipments and help drivers obtain necessary documents
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent; Logistics or transportation degree preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
  • Familiar with DOT and OSHA compliance regulations
  • Fluent in Excel
  • Quick and thorough data entry/input background including Excel and OneDrive
  • Critical thinking and fast responsiveness
  • Dispatcher experience required
