Financial Operations Specialist

This role supports the client's accounts payable function by enhancing bill and credit card data quality. Key responsibilities include handling high volumes of transactions, vendor follow-up, reconciliation, and ongoing configuration.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor daily transactions for compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
- Identify suspicious or unauthorized activities and escalate to leadership as needed.
- Follow up with stakeholders to collect missing documentation and facilitate timely approvals.
- Respond to routine inquiries and troubleshoot payment issues or discrepancies.
- Support documentation of AP workflows and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment.
- Proficiency with financial software, ideally for accounts payable functions.
- Strong understanding of matching principles and system configurations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. This role operates within Ramp and assists with ongoing maintenance and optimization.
