Business Development Representative - APAC

The opportunity to revolutionize industries ranging from mining, construction and agriculture to humanitarian organizations, environmentalists and wildlife monitoring groups has never been greater. Wingtra's sales team is looking to capitalize on this momentum by growing our team of Business Development Representatives. As a Wingtra BDR, you will identify potential customers across the APAC region and qualify their interest in Wingtra's products.
This high-energy position requires flexibility, proactive and persistent interactions with clients. You will have the unique chance to be part of an exciting, unconventional yet structured and progressive start-up environment where open communication, asking hard questions and valuing diverse viewpoints are highly valued.
You will play a large part in our growth strategy by generating leads using social media, phone and networking activities. Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques to establish contact with the customer. Hold virtual product demonstrations of the drone and its workflow as well as assist in person. Introduce sales qualified leads (SQL) to local partners and your Wingtra Regional Sales Manager in a well-documented manner. Assist in the organization of roadshows, partner events and tradeshows. Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools.
A Must-Have for Success:
- Cold calling experience and generating leads
- Passion, competitiveness and curiosity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust
Bonus Skills:
- Existing network in geospatial, surveying, mining or construction industries
- Possession of tech savviness working with outreach tools such as LinkedIn Sales navigator, email verification and automated sequencing tools as well as CRM systems
