Senior Internal Auditor Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Internal Auditor. This position involves overseeing and conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • This individual will plan, execute, and document audit activities, providing clear and accurate workpapers and reports.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, ability to identify control gaps, and track remediation efforts.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct SOX audits in accordance with management's plans or Audit Committee requests.
  • Document and analyze audit evidence to support findings.
  • Prepare clear, accurate audit workpapers and reports.
  • Identify control gaps and track remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in auditing, preferably in public accounting or internal audit within a US-listed public company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) and SOX compliance is mandatory.
  • Experience auditing key business processes is necessary.
