About Our Opportunity

At our company, we are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and can efficiently translate drawings into precise estimates.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using specialized software.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans.
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam (must-have).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects.
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent spoken and written English.
  • Prior costing/estimating experience is a plus.
Skills:
  • Electrical estimating.
  • Lighting design.
  • Building information modeling (BIM).
  • Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Microsoft Excel.
