Community Manager Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and driven individual to build and grow an active, engaged community of digital marketers from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to lead community efforts across multiple platforms and create a space where digital marketers connect, learn, and grow together.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a content and engagement strategy tailored to digital marketers, including discussions, AMAs, events, polls, and member spotlights.
  • Foster meaningful engagement by initiating conversations, responding to inquiries, and amplifying user-generated content.
  • Monitor and moderate community spaces to ensure a positive, inclusive, and spam-free environment.
  • Analyze growth and engagement metrics, and continuously iterate based on feedback and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align community-building efforts with brand positioning and campaign initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community management or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of growing online communities from less than 1,000 to 10,000+ members—ideally in marketing, tech, or creator spaces.
  • Hands-on experience managing communities on Discord, Telegram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn (other platforms a plus).
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, lingo, and challenges—bonus if you're already part of relevant communities.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to connect with audiences in a friendly yet professional tone.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to guide community strategies.
