Fire Alarm System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our Service Department efficiently. As a Fire Alarm System Specialist, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless communication with customers, scheduling service calls, and coordinating technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming service calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians as needed, prioritizing urgent requests.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone, addressing their concerns and service needs, and providing regular updates on the status of their requests.
  • Analyze fire alarm system issues remotely, using technical knowledge and expertise to determine the best course of action.
  • Maintain accurate service records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with fire alarm systems is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong diagnostic skills, enabling you to identify and resolve complex fire alarm issues over the phone.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for successful customer interactions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with technicians efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills, necessary to determine service requirements and respond to emergency situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in fire alarm systems or related fields are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience managing a service department or team is an asset.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is beneficial.
