The Business Development Manager position requires developing and implementing integrated solution sales strategies that incorporate contract logistics solutions. They will collaborate closely with the business development and sales teams to create sales leads, design business solutions, and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with the business development and sales teams to identify and pursue integrated solution sales opportunities.
  2. Generate sales leads and create tailored business solutions that meet customer needs, converting prospects into new business.
  3. Maintain open lines of communication with the field sales team and business development colleagues to ensure a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
  4. Compile, quote, and present proposals for new business inquiries, guaranteeing prompt completion and response to RFIs and RFQs.
  5. Develop in-depth knowledge of the business unit's pricing and RFQ preparation processes.
  6. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless new customer implementations, encompassing project planning, solution design, warehouse setup, SOPs, cost analysis, and contracting.
  7. Achieve and surpass sales and profit targets set by management.
  8. Negotiate with vendors to guarantee that operations meet the needs of our cargo partners and customers.
  9. Organize and execute customer visits, calls, presentations, and commercial and contractual discussions as necessary.
  10. Foster and maintain lasting relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships and loyalty.

What We're Looking For:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management or a related field is mandatory.
  • No less than 3-5 years of experience in 3PL sales, business development, contract logistics, or freight forwarding is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
  • Able to engage top management to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical, planning, and organizing abilities with attention to detail.
