Business Analyst Job Description

A business analyst plays a critical role in the success of IT projects. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the analysis and documentation of project requirements, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the desired outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst on technology-focused projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building effective relationships with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and document project requirements, scope, and business processes.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate resourcing, task assignments, and project reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst on technology-focused projects.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Atlassian Confluence/JIRA.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
