Overview of the Role:

As a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial operations for our clients. This position requires a detail-oriented and experienced professional with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and proficiency with AP software tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to verify accuracy and authenticity.
  • Manage vendor accounts, including reconciliations and payment schedules to maintain strong relationships and ensure timely payments.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. accounting standards and internal controls to guarantee financial integrity and transparency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and assist with month-end closing processes to provide timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably supporting U.S.-based clients.
  • Experience with ViewPoint is required.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and financial principles.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Amenable to work on night shift (U.S. business hours) and willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
