We are seeking a seasoned Business Continuity Specialist to spearhead operational resilience initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business continuity planning, risk management, crisis management, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse complex business continuity issues, maintaining comprehensive documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Serve as a key resource by providing research, interpretation, and analysis to facilitate effective conclusions.
  • Oversee the BC lifecycle to ensure consistency, efficiency, and synergy across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, escalate inquiries, and ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in designing and delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Support internal customers in developing and maintaining business continuity plans, testing, and training.
  • Participate in regular BC and crisis management update meetings, documenting progress and escalating issues.
  • Maintain BC and crisis management documentation, providing regular updates to management.
  • Review, edit, and align documentation/policies/procedures related to business resiliency with the corporate framework.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity principles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying risks and developing effective solutions.
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) skills to engage with stakeholders and convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

This role requires occasional travel, approximately 1-4 trips annually.
