We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Registry Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to utilize their skills in accounting and registry management.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining investor records, and supporting the smooth running of registry services. As an Accounting and Registry Specialist, you will be at the heart of financial operations, combining strong accounting skills with meticulous registry work.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with regulatory requirements, including invoice and payment processing.
Prepare instructions to the custodian for fund expense payments, ensuring timely payments.
Reconcile daily transactions, including cash, investments, and expenses, and perform monthly reconciliations as needed.
Calculate daily unit prices for the Fund to ensure accurate NAV valuation within deadlines.
Assist with BAS returns and monthly property and fund management reports.
Support the audit process for the year-end audit.
Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified accountant with 3+ years of experience, preferably in Funds Management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel and Xero.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Client-service orientation and familiarity with compliance requirements, including AML/CTF.
