Job Description

The role of the Assistant Accountant involves providing financial and management reports to M & M, Consolidated, Inc., and Menzi Agricultural Corporation.

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing basic accounting reports, recording transactions, analyzing and evaluating reports based on available data sources, and preparing accruals of accounts and other payables.

Additionally, the Assistant Accountant will prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation, trial balance, journal vouchers, financial statements, and schedules for year-end audit. They will also receive collections and issue official receipts, deposit and withdraw company funds from depository banks, and prepare check vouchers for disbursements.

Furthermore, the role includes preparing daily cash position report, monthly/quarterly/annual SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig, Withholding Tax and Value Added Tax remittances, Debit Memos of accruals, billings and other charges, and Statement of Account for Tenants Rental.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be a BS Accountancy Graduate.
  • With at least 1-3 years professional experience in general accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Willing to work in Makati
  • Preferably from the same industry (Real Estate and Agriculture)
  • Can start ASAP
