Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

This is a mid-senior level, full-time accounting role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's general ledger accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead and manage the month-end closing process, coordinating with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supervise general ledger account reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and ensure accounts are reconciled regularly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
  • Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to auditing standards.
  • Evaluate opportunities for process improvement within the general ledger function, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in general ledger accounting or related roles, with a proven track record of supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
