Accounting Manager Role Overview

As a key member of our organization, the Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all financial reporting aspects. This involves meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, year-end audit, and budget support and forecast. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial statements.

This position requires a graduate degree in Accountancy and at least 5 years of managerial experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an advantage. The ideal candidate should possess excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Additionally, they should be knowledgeable in Financial Statement preparation, BIR Reports, and processing of permits.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing and establishing financial policies and procedures. They should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal, listening, time management, organization, administrative, result-oriented, and advanced Excel proficiency skills. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential. Prioritization among competing tasks and juggling multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail are also crucial. Leading the Accounting Team and exhibiting high integrity by keeping confidential information secure are vital qualities for this role.

  • Graduate degree in Accountancy
  • At least 5 years managerial experience
