About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and filing monthly tax returns, lead schedules, and journal entries.

You will also monitor clearing accounts, perform appropriate actions to clear out balances, and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.

Additionally, you will prepare monthly PEZA Local Processing, coordinate with different groups within Finance and Accounting group, and input data on various SAP Masterfile.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares & files monthly tax returns such as Expanded/Compensation, VAT
  • Prepares lead schedules for certain accounts and consolidates other lead schedules
  • Monitors clearing account and performs appropriate action to clear out balances (incl. booking of entries or informing revenue accounting of open items)
  • Prepares journal entries for amortization of prepaid expenses and intangibles, accruals of interests, and other monthly recurring transactions
  • Records journal entries for inter-company transactions and prepares reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balances
  • Prepares monthly PEZA Local Processing
  • Coordinates effectively with different groups within Finance and Accounting group and/or other departments to accomplish tasks on a timely manner.
  • Inputs data on various SAP Masterfile, which includes vendor masterfile, customer masterfile, and cost centers
  • Recommends and implements relevant, efficient, and effective initiatives to improve work flow and to streamline accounting closing cycle
  • Exerts all efforts, exhausting various possibilities to provide the service to internal and external clients within the agreed guidelines and standards
  • Generates and gathers various data and analyzes it as may be needed and requested by different units, and assesses its accuracy, validity and integrity
  • Prepares, corresponds and generates reports for internal and or external clients in a timely manner and in accordance with set standards.
  • Communicates clearly and articulately in all situation, may it be for internal or external clients; ensuring that all ideas and information are well expressed and understood.
  • Makes decisions in a timely manner and according to approved level of authority
  • Effectively and contructively shares ideas and information to the team for its continuous development.
