Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our litigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for case preparation, management, and research, as well as drafting and reviewing documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough legal and factual research, producing concise and well-supported findings.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials in advance of hearings and trials.
  • Track and manage deadlines, hearings, and schedules to prevent delays and ensure smooth case progression.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to gather and clarify case details.
  • Manage document production and review during discovery, utilizing case management systems and legal research tools.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in litigation, with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and discovery processes.
  • Proficiency with case management systems, such as Clio or PracticePanther.
  • Skilled in legal research tools, including LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
