Financial Operations Manager

The key objective of this position is to oversee and lead financial operations across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of various tasks.

This role involves managing the month-end close process for multiple entities using NetSuite and QuickBooks, preparing and filing multi-state sales taxes (TX, GA, FL, LA), computing sales commissions, and processing payroll bi-monthly. The Financial Operations Manager will also be responsible for leading cashflow planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership, supervising AR/AP clerks, and maintaining reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager (5+ years), proficiency in NetSuite, strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax, and hands-on reconciliation and close process expertise.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage month-end close for multiple entities using NetSuite and QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and file multi-state sales taxes (TX, GA, FL, LA).
  • Compute sales commissions and ensure accuracy/timeliness.
  • Process payroll bi-monthly and issue timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead cashflow planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
  • Supervise AR/AP clerks and maintain reconciliations (bank, credit card, accruals, deposits).
  • Participate in leadership meetings and maintain company scorecard metrics.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid Controller/Accounting Manager experience (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in NetSuite (hands-on, not just end-user).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Hands-on reconciliation and close process expertise.
