Job Summary

As a seasoned Financial Manager and Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
    • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
    • Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting with experience in management budgeting and projections.
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions.
  • Cashflow management expertise.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop) and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
