Financial Excellence Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our financial team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who excels in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Analyze reports from Xero and build Excel-based financial models, including three-way forecasting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycles.
  • Oversee intercompany journals, transactions, and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Consolidate reporting across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
  • Reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data, guaranteeing accuracy in recurring revenue streams.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to inform business decisions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering confidence and clarity around numbers.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification with experience in Australia or New Zealand preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of accounting and financial analysis experience required.
  • Leadership experience in month-end close processes and intercompany accounting and reporting essential.
  • Team management experience desired.
  • Exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue models preferred but not essential.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, including financial and three-way modeling required.
  • Month-end close and intercompany accounting experience necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
