Job Overview

In this role, you will oversee the general accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current practices and procedures to identify areas for improvement and document recommendations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with PFRS.
  • Develop and implement business intelligence reports to support management decision-making.
  • Manage project teams to achieve timely completion of ad-hoc reports and projects.
  • Mentor and develop staff by setting goals, providing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
  • Support quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and annual corporate financial controls audit.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in IT Management is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience with financial systems, including QuickBooks with at least a Group Admin role.
  • Proven experience in Project Management, preferably in automation of Accounting System.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Working knowledge of competency and performance-management principles.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills dedicated to driving and achieving quality results on time.
  • Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills.
