Accounting Professional Opportunity

This role offers a hands-on finance and administration position designed for an accounting professional who can manage the full spectrum of bookkeeping and financial operations.

Beyond managing day-to-day accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial data is captured, reconciled, and reported to support business decision-making. A strong emphasis is placed on financial reporting, data analysis, and budgeting support, enabling the leadership team to track performance, control costs, and plan for growth.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field and at least 3 years' experience in bookkeeping. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is also highly valued.

  • Reconcile books and financial transactions regularly
  • Maintain and update supplier invoices, ensuring they match up to statements and are correct in Xero
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and rectify errors
  • Follow up with suppliers for outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures
  • Support other business functions as needed
