Senior Bookkeeper Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to lead our onboarding and cleanup projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial operations of our clients remain robust and reliable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping Quality Assurance: Review and ensure the quality of bookkeeping outputs.
  • Accounting Process Leadership: Lead accounting processes, including invoice preparation, approval flows, and reconciliation.
  • Client Onboarding: Manage onboarding and cleanup workflows for new client accounts.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures, checklists, and process documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal standards.
  • Talent Development: Train and coach junior bookkeepers, serving as escalation contact.
  • Project Management: Effectively manage multiple clients and meet all deadlines for month end close.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP, full-cycle bookkeeping, and financial cleanup.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Strong leadership capability and mentoring experience.
  • Track record of creating or refining standard operating procedures and efficient workflows.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
