About Our Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of tax preparation professionals, preparing and filing federal and state tax returns, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in U.S. accounting, particularly in tax preparation and compliance. You will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of tax preparation professionals, setting performance expectations and monitoring team performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, reviewing tax returns and providing guidance, and maintaining effective communication.
  • Data Security & Confidentiality: Oversee data security and confidentiality measures, ensuring accurate preparation of audit schedules and coaching team members.

Requirements
  • CPA license is required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of U.S. accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Intuit ProConnect Tax Software - preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset and excellent communication abilities.
  • Sharp analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
